For the record, we also checked out the idea of doing beadboard wallpaper over the backing provided with the book shelf, but it turned out that the actual beadboard was much cheaper for a project this size.
I just tied the stockings up with twine and staggered them on the ladder that was already there in the corner of the living room.. Super easy, super cute, super effective!.Kennedy was somewhat concerned that Santa wouldn’t be able to reach that high.
So we had a good conversation about that.. “What? How tall do you think Santa is?Santa’s a man, Kenna.
He’s like Daddy-sized.” It was the best.I got to find a good solution to my problem, and look all cool cause I’m tight with Santa and know how tall he is and stuff.. Just in case you were wondering, I’m also super close buddies with the tooth fairy.
We talk on the phone and text all the time.
Just ask Kennedy..Sorry about the bad photo, the light from the window reaches the top half of the closet a little better, but you can kind of see what I’m talking about..
The floor was just the old plywood so I used the brown craft paper trick on it to make it a little more neutral and comfortable to look at.It’s actually really nice to walk on too!
It’s just a temporary solution, but I think I may have a fun idea to make it even better..So, now I need to execute my plan and also get those walls fixed up.
