I like to add things like sour cream, shredded cheese, bacon bits, and sliced green onions to the top, but really there are so many different ways you can mix this up..The great thing about this basic soup is that, since it’s pureed, you can even add in all kinds of other veggies while it’s cooking and no one has any idea!

I created this fun giant vase/container/hurricane/whatever you want to call it as my contribution.. I’ve been on a mission to use up all of the plain glass containers that I’ve been keeping in my back hall “just in case” and I thought this might be the perfect chance.. I’ve had this big plain glass thing for awhile.

I always thought it seemed so versatile and I could use it in so many different applications. The other reason is that I’m still a little freaked out by thrift stores sometimes.

I know we all do it, but when I go in, I always feel like everyone’s watching me.“What’s she doing here?

This isn’t a place for her.” “Why is she pacing up and down the aisles like that?” And what if I run into someone I know in this small town on my way in?How do I explain what I’m doing?
